This Privacy Policy explains how Gary Henson Group ("GHG," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites (garyhensongroup.com and book.garyhensongroup.com), book a Strategy Zoom Meeting, download our e-book, subscribe to our newsletter or text messages, or purchase the Business Owner's Playbook ("BOPB").

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide when booking. When you schedule a Strategy Zoom Meeting, our booking system (Google Calendar Appointment Schedules) collects your name, email address, phone number, and any responses you provide in the booking form.
• Information you provide when downloading our e-book or joining our email list. We collect your name and email address, at minimum, when you request the e-book or subscribe to receive content from us.
• Information you provide when purchasing the BOPB directly from us. We collect your name, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payment card information is processed by our payment processor and is not stored on GHG's own systems. If you purchase the BOPB through Amazon instead, Amazon — not GHG — collects and processes that transaction under Amazon's own privacy policy; we only receive aggregate affiliate-commission reporting.
• Information you provide when signing up for text messages. If you opt in to text messages on our website, we collect your mobile phone number, your consent to receive texts, and the date and time you gave it.
• Information you provide by texting or emailing us. If you text or email us directly, we receive your phone number or email address and the content of your message.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at this site.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following third-party tools, which may place cookies on your device:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how visitors use this site.
• Google Signals — we have enabled Google Signals within Google Analytics. This allows Google Analytics to associate the data it collects from this site with Google's information from visitors who are signed into their Google account and have turned on ad personalization, giving us aggregated demographic and interest information about our visitors as a group. We do not receive or have access to any individual visitor's personal Google account data through this feature. You can control this through your own Google account's Ad Center settings, or opt out of Google Analytics tracking entirely using Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag — helps us measure the performance of our LinkedIn ads and, where permitted, show relevant ads to visitors who have been to this site (retargeting). LinkedIn's use of this data is governed by LinkedIn's own Privacy Policy.
• Google Calendar — powers our appointment booking widget. Information you enter there is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and LinkedIn provides an opt-out for interest-based advertising. The Sites do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, consistent with the absence of a common industry standard for interpreting them.

How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, confirm, and follow up on Strategy Zoom Meetings
• To deliver the e-book and other requested materials, and to send the email newsletter you've opted into
• To send the recurring text messages you've opted into, such as a link to each week's newsletter
• To process and fulfill direct BOPB purchases
• To respond to texts, emails, or other inquiries you send us
• To understand and improve how visitors use our websites
• To measure and improve our LinkedIn advertising, and to show relevant ads to prior visitors

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Your Contact Information for Booking

When you book a Strategy Zoom Meeting, we use your contact information for these specific purposes:

• Email address — used to confirm your identity, send booking confirmations, deliver calendar invitations, and notify you of schedule changes or cancellations.
• Phone number — used to send SMS booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and direct updates about your scheduled appointment.
• Google Calendar access — used to check real-time availability and to create, update, or cancel calendar events tied to your booking.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with trusted third-party service providers who need it to operate our core functions, and with no other third party except as required by law:

• Google LLC — Analytics and calendar/scheduling management.
• LinkedIn — advertising and analytics.
• Intuit Mailchimp — email newsletter delivery and, if you've opted in, text message delivery.
• Our payment processor — for direct BOPB purchases.
• Amazon — through the Amazon Associates affiliate program, for purchases made via Amazon links (see "Affiliate Links" below).
• Our contracted SMS/communications vendor(s) — solely to deliver text messages you've opted into.

Text Messaging (SMS)

Newsletter texts. If you opt in to text messages from Gary Henson Group, we use your mobile number to send recurring automated texts with a link to each week's newsletter. Message frequency: up to 5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time, or reply HELP for help. You can also reach us at info@garyhensongroup.com or (916) 922-7766. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Booking and inquiry texts. We also send booking confirmations and reminders, and reply to texts you send us through our QR code. Phone numbers collected for those purposes receive only messages related to your booking or inquiry, and are not added to newsletter texts unless you opt in separately.

SMS Privacy Protection

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile information is shared only with our contracted text messaging providers, solely as necessary to deliver the messages you've requested, and they may not use it for any other purpose.

Affiliate Links and FTC Disclosure

The BOPB includes affiliate links to books recommended in each chapter, through the Amazon Associates program. If you purchase through one of these links, GHG may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend books our team has read and believes add genuine value. Purchases made through Amazon are subject to Amazon's own privacy policy and terms, not GHG's.

Data Retention

We retain booking, purchase, and contact information for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted. If you reply STOP to our texts, we stop sending them and keep a record of your opt-out so you aren't added back by mistake. You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the link in any marketing email; this stops further marketing communications, though some records may be retained afterward as required by law or for legitimate business record-keeping.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

• You can decline non-essential cookies through your browser or device settings.
• You can control Google Signals through your Google Ad Center settings, or opt out of Google Analytics entirely, using the links above.
• You can opt out of LinkedIn's interest-based ads via the link above.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to know what personal information we've collected, request its deletion or correction, and, in the EEA/UK, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and professionals and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Google API Compliance

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes.
